Pathfinders Hold Annual Fundriaser
On Saturday March 7, 2009 the Southern New Hampshire Indian Pathfinders held their annual comedy / silent auction night fundraiser at the Castleton in Windham, NH. The fundraising committee worked for weeks collecting donations from local area business's. In total close to 150 items were donated with a total retail value of about $17,000. Donation items varied from restaurant gift certificates, sports memorabilia to a 42" wide screen TV and Blu-ray DVD package.
During the first half of the evening guests were treated to a fantastic movie of Pathfinders at nation events, tribe events, and doing community service. Tori DeYeso of the Mohican tribe, showed her love for the organization by spending countless hours preparing the movie. Tori also donated a beautiful handmade necklace and set of earrings for the silent auction. The retail price was marked at $25 but the bidding was fierce for this item. At the end the winning bidder received this beautiful item for $45.
