Good evening everyone,
Welcome to the 2009/2010 Pathfinders Season!
 I'd like to thank all of the returning Dads and Daughters for trusting me with "our" organization. We had a great couple years under the guidance of Jim O'Brien, Jim Stikeman, your Tribe Chiefs and the former Nation Elders. Thank you all for your dedication to Pathfinders over the past two years. We have many new faces at the Longhouse meetings this year and thankfully some old ones too. Our promise to you all is we'll continue to lead and grow this organization responsibly to ensure we stay true to our mission "to strenghten the relationship between fathers and daughters."
The fall campout is upon us and I certainly look forward to seeing you all at Camp Winaukee this weekend. We 've had a successful fall recruitment effort thanks to the Recruitment Committee headed by Jim Belanger and Bill Cummings. We have a couple of new tribes joining us this year and it looks like a great turn out for what appears to be a "nice weather" weekend. Please share your your experiences and tribe meeting ideas with our new members and tribes, I'm sure they would appreciate it. I know I have not met all of you and therefore want to encourage you to introduce yourself and for your daughters to introduce themselves to me this weekend. I will do my best to make sure I get to know all of you.
We've been working behind the scenes to schedule the Nation events for this season, the annual fundraiser and campouts. We'll be updating you through the website and through your chiefs in the weeks to come. This organization succeeds through active participation and I encourage all Dads and Daughters to participate as best they can. I would love to hear your ideas about Pathfinders, what you like, what you would change and what you'd like to see us do in the future. Please feel welcome to stop me, phone me or email me and share your ideas.
I'm looking forward to a great season, starting with the kick off this weekend.
