Pathfinders Bring Hawaii to Londonderry

Indian_Pathfinders_LuauMusic, luau, Hawaiian shirts, food and friends; what else is needed to celebrate the start of the school year with the Pathfinders? On Friday September 11th, the Pathfinders recruitment committee held the 3rd annual Father & Daughter dance in Londonderry. Last year's dance temperatures were at record high so this year the committee went with a more relaxed luau theme. The theme was a huge success with fathers and daughters. Fathers donned their favorite Hawaiian shirt and daughters dressed in their favorite summer clothes.

The DJ of the Night, Scott Lohnes from Disc-Go Entertainment, played today's top hits and kept the crowd dancing on the floor all night. All evening, there wasn't a shortage of fathers and daughters dancing and having fun.   During the slower songs, many little sweeties could be seen dancing on their father's feet or in their arms.

The night ended with fathers and daughters doing the Limbo to see just how low they could go. One lucky guest left with the door prize; a beautiful basket full of crafts, a webkinz, Barnes & Nobles Gift card and many other fun items.

The recruitment committee would like to thank everyone that came out to enjoy the night with them. They are looking forward to next year and to making the event even more successful.
