Mic Mac's Host First Father & Daughter Dance

Father & Daughter DanceOn Saturday April 4, 2009 the Mic Mac Tribe hosted their first Father & Daughter Dance at the James Mastricola Elementary School in Merrimack. Aggressive planning by Bill Cummings and the Mic Mac tribe paid off.

Close to 100 Merrimack fathers and daughters came out to party with the Pathfinders and DJ Willy. Throughout the night DJ Willy played some of today's hottest dance hits including the Cha Cha Slide, the Electric Slide and everyone's favorite, the Cotton Eyed Joe.

The night was capped off with a raffle for 4 Manchester Fisher Cats tickets. One Lucky Merrimack resident one the 4 tickets and will be joining the Pathfinders at the May 8th game.  This event was used as a recruitment tool for the Mic Mac tribe which has had a recent loss in membership.

Pathfinder members noticed the excitement from both fathers and daughters as they left the event. The tribe currently has a sign-up and information night planned for Merrimack residents on Wednesday April 8th, 2008. They are hoping to take some of the enthusiasm from the dance and turn that into new members. Good luck Mic Mac's. The Nation hopes to see a rejuvenated tribe at the Spring Campout.
