Fisher Cats On A Warm Spring Night

Indian_Pathfinder_Fisher_Cats"Back, back, back...waaaaaay back...gone!" The Pathfinder nation's trip to see the NH Fisher Cats pull out a big win over the Connecticut Defenders was a classic in the making, and a fabulous night out at a ballgame for all who came to enjoy it. A sea of yellow Pathfinder t-shirts kicked off the night in a slow "parade" around the ballpark, soaking up the late afternoon sun and cheers from other family members in the crowd. The nation's participation didn't stop there with Christina Sadler tribe member of the Shoshone tribe throwing out the first pitch, and one lucky tribe member raced Fungo the Fisher Cat around the bases between innings. Then there was the "seat belt race" amongst the rows of Pathfinders in the crowd, and plenty of hot dogs, chips and sodas to go around. To have the Fisher Cats bust open a 5-5 tie in the 6th and close out with an 18-6 win was an exciting finish to the evening. Thanks to the Shoshone tribe for organizing the event and look forward to seeing you all there next year!
