Pathfinders Fly To The Moon
On February 15th, 2009, more than half of the Pathfinder Nation went to the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium and saw the shows Black Holes and Tonight's Sky. Tonight's Sky had a nice look at some winter constellations and different types of stars. It was quite an interesting look at different constellations that you can actually see in the sky. The show Black Holes showed us areas of the universe that actually might not be there. Black holes was a very educational movie. We didn't know until we got there that the Planetarium was celebrating Galileo's birthday. We celebrated it with a short talk about Galileo's life and to made the rest of the day enjoyable a piece of Galileo's birthday cake.
I hope you enjoyed this nation event and thank you to the Chinook tribe for hosting it.
